Amit Shah Slams Rahul Gandhi’s Remarks

Manipur Security Review: Amit Shah’s Key Meeting Today

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for making “anti-national” remarks during his U.S. visit. Shah accused Gandhi of consistently threatening national security and fueling divisive politics based on regionalism, religion, and language.

Amit Shah tweeted, “It has become a habit for Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party to stand with forces that conspire to divide the nation and make anti-national statements. Whether it’s supporting the anti-national agenda of NC in J&K or making anti-India remarks on foreign platforms, Rahul Gandhi has always threatened the nation’s security and hurt sentiments.”

Shah further targeted Gandhi on the issue of reservations, saying, “By speaking about scrapping reservations, Rahul Gandhi has once again exposed Congress’s anti-reservation stance.”

He added, “As long as BJP is in power, no one can abolish reservations or compromise the nation’s security.”

Amit Shah’s response came after Rahul Gandhi’s controversial comments on reservations and religious freedom during his interaction at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., which stirred political reactions.

Gandhi’s statement at an event in Virginia, highlighting concerns about religious freedoms, has ignited a storm of criticism from BJP leaders.
