UP Hostel Student Murdered in Alleged Black Magic Ritual, 5 Arrested

A tragic incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district, where a Class 2 student was allegedly murdered as part of a black magic ritual. The motive behind the crime was to bring prosperity and fame to a financially struggling school. The horrific event occurred on September 22 when three individuals strangled the young boy in his hostel room.

According to preliminary police investigations, the school’s owner, whose father is reportedly involved in occult practices, is suspected of orchestrating the murder. The initial attempt at the ritual occurred on September 6, but the boy managed to raise an alarm, surviving the attack. Medical tests later confirmed signs of strangulation.

On September 22, the accused attempted the ritual again, planning to sacrifice the boy near a tube well behind the school. However, the boy woke up during the process, leading the suspects to panic and strangle him inside the school premises instead.

During the investigation, authorities discovered ritualistic items near the tube well, further supporting claims that the murder was linked to black magic practices. Police believe the crime was rooted in superstitions about offering a human sacrifice to resolve the school’s financial troubles.

Explaining the incident, the boy’s father said, “I received a call from the school saying, ‘Your child’s condition is critical.’ While I was on my way, they called again, stating they were taking him to Sadabad. But they didn’t stop, and by the time we caught up with them, we found my child’s body in their car.”

Hathras Superintendent of Police Nipun Aggarwal confirmed that five people have been arrested in connection with the crime. “The child was strangled with the intention of bringing prosperity to the school and securing its future,” Aggarwal stated.
