A tragic road accident in Gurugram on Monday morning claimed the lives of two students and injured three people. The incident occurred at around 9:15 am when four students were heading towards Sohna Road from their residence in DLF Phase-III. According to the police, the car’s rear tyre burst, leading to a loss of control, and the vehicle swerved into the opposite lane.
The car first collided with a pole, then struck an oncoming car, and finally crashed into a motorcycle, injuring its rider. A video from the accident scene has surfaced on social media, showing the damaged vehicles and a crowd gathering at the site.
The accident also resulted in significant traffic congestion in the area. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The police have started an investigation and are awaiting a detailed report.
