Three Bengaluru Colleges Receive Bomb Threat Emails

Three prestigious colleges in Bengaluru received bomb threat emails on Friday. BMS College, MS Ramaiah College, and BIT College were claimed to have bombs placed within their premises. These institutions are located in Sadashivanagar, Hanumantha Nagar, and Basavanagudi.

Police teams and bomb disposal squads are currently on-site, conducting thorough inspections. Lokesh, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for South Bengaluru, stated, “A bomb threat was received by BIT, BMSCE, and MSRIT. Bomb disposal squads and related teams are verifying the claim.”

The police are closely monitoring the situation, with checks ongoing for the past half hour. Cases have been lodged at Hanumantha Nagar Police Station and Sadashivanagar Police Station to trace the source of the threat.
