Air India has announced the suspension of its flights to and from Tel Aviv, effective immediately until August 8, 2024. This decision comes amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran. The airline’s move aims to prioritize the safety of passengers and crew.
Flight Cancellations and Passenger Support
In a recent statement, Air India confirmed the suspension of its Delhi-Tel Aviv flights due to the volatile situation in the Middle East. “In view of the ongoing situation in parts of the Middle East, we have suspended scheduled operation of our flights to and from Tel Aviv with immediate effect up to and including August 8, 2024,” the airline stated.
Air India operates four flights per week between Delhi and Tel Aviv. The airline has canceled flights AI139 from Delhi to Tel Aviv and AI140 from Tel Aviv to Delhi on August 1 due to operational reasons.
