Calling Mauritius “Mini India”, PM Modi noted, “Here, our ancestors from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and across several parts of India came and settled here. Mini India survives in Mauritius. There is no corner left in Mauritius that has not appeared in Bollywood music.” He highlighted the island’s cultural diversity and its deep connection with India.
