According to officials, the deceased were taken while they were out grazing cattle in the forest. Kuldeep’s brother Prithvi told PTI, “We received information that my brother and Ahmed were abducted and killed by terrorists. They were VDG members and had gone to graze cattle, as usual.”

Police have initiated a large-scale search operation to locate the bodies. However, no bodies have been recovered yet. The incident has spread fear among the locals, and the administration has tightened security in the region.
