Thane fruit vendor caught on camera urinating in a plastic bag, arrested

In Thane’s Dombivali district, a 20-year-old fruit seller, Ali Khan, has been arrested following the circulation of a viral video. The video allegedly shows Khan urinating into a plastic bag and then continuing to sell fruits without washing his hands.

The incident occurred in a market located in the Nilje area of Dombivali. After the video gained widespread attention, locals flocked to the market, leading to vandalism. The situation has since been brought under control by local authorities.

According to the Manpada Police, Khan has been charged under Sections 271 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 272 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), and 296 (obscenity) of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigations are currently ongoing.
