A contractor and structural consultant were implicated, contradicting earlier claims.

Political analysts believe the government’s response reflects past controversies involving Shivaji Maharaj, such as the 2004 uproar over James Laine’s book. The alliance partners’ cautious approach signals their attempt to avoid a similar political backlash as Assembly polls loom.
