Baba Siddique Murder: Shiv Kumar’s Arrest and Bishnoi Gang Connection
The murder of Baba Siddique was a shocking crime, where Shiv Kumar shot the former Maharashtra minister outside his son MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s office building in Bandra East on October 12. After the murder, Shiv Kumar went on the run, trying to flee to Nepal. However, he was arrested in Bahraich by a joint operation of the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and the Mumbai Crime Branch.
Gang Connection and Plot Behind the Murder
Upon his arrest, Shiv Kumar admitted to being a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. His role in the murder was clarified when he revealed that the killing was carried out under the orders of Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi. Anmol Bishnoi, also known as ‘Bhanu’, had been involved in several notorious activities, including the shooting at actor Salman Khan’s residence and the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
Shiv Kumar also revealed that Shubham Lonkar, a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, had facilitated his contact with Anmol Bishnoi. The police later found that Anmol used the social media platform Snapchat to communicate with the shooters and even shared a picture of Zeeshan Siddique, Baba Siddique’s son, with them.
The Hunt for Anmol Bishnoi
With Shiv Kumar’s arrest, a total of 23 people have now been arrested in connection with Baba Siddique’s murder. Anmol Bishnoi, who fled the country, is wanted in multiple criminal cases. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has placed him on its most-wanted list, offering a reward of Rs 10 lakh for information leading to his arrest.
This case has not only exposed the criminal network of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang but also unveiled the deep layers of conspiracies and criminal activities associated with it.
