Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again faced a serious death threat. A message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police demanded Rs 2 crore from the actor, with a warning that failure to pay would result in his death. Following this message, the Mumbai Police in Worli registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.

On Tuesday, Mumbai Police arrested a 20-year-old man, Mohammad Tayyab, alias Gurfan Khan, in Noida’s Sector 39 for threatening Salman Khan and Ajit Pawar’s NCP MLA Zeeshan Siddique. The accused also demanded money from Siddique, further complicating the case.

In an earlier incident, on October 12, former state minister Baba Siddique was murdered outside Zeeshan Siddique’s office during Dussehra celebrations. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility the next day, alleging the murder was due to Baba’s close relationship with Salman Khan. So far, police have arrested 15 people in connection with Baba Siddique’s murder.

This is not Salman Khan’s first death threat. In 2022, a threatening letter was discovered on a bench near his residence. In March 2023, he received a threatening email allegedly from Goldy Brar. In 2024, two individuals attempted to trespass into Khan’s Panvel farmhouse using fake identities.
