Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a heartwarming video on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, welcoming a new member, ‘Deepjyoti,’ to his residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, Delhi. In the video, the Prime Minister is seen petting and playing with the calf, which was born at his residence. PM Modi wrote, “Our scriptures say – ‘Gaav: Sarvasukha Prada:'” while sharing the video.
The calf, named ‘Deepjyoti’ by the Prime Minister, has a unique symbol on its forehead. PM Modi referred to it as a “symbol of light.” In the video, he is seen sitting with the calf in the temple area of his residence, lovingly caressing the mark on its forehead and spending time with it. He can also be seen strolling through his garden with the calf, holding it and playing with it.
Earlier this year, in January, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, PM Modi shared another video of him feeding Punganur cows at his residence. The Punganur breed, native to the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, is one of the world’s smallest humped cattle breeds.
