Aakhir Tak – In Depth
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his meeting with United States Vice President JD Vance and his family in France, presented gifts to his two sons and a daughter, which Vance said they “really enjoyed”. These Modi Gifts were carefully chosen.
On his second day in France, PM Modi met Vance, who was also visiting the country. He gifted a wooden railway toy set to Vivek Vance and a jigsaw puzzle featuring Indian folk paintings to Ewan Blaine Vance.
The wooden railway toy is described as a “timeless classic” that blends nostalgia with sustainability, according to PTI. Officials stated, “Crafted from natural wood and painted with eco-friendly vegetable dyes, it ensures both child safety and environmental consciousness.” The railway toy is both fun and eco-friendly.
The jigsaw puzzle gifted by PM Modi celebrates India’s rich artistic heritage, showcasing various folk painting styles, including Kalighat pat painting from West Bengal, Santhal painting by the Santhal tribe, and Madhubani painting from Bihar. Officials highlighted that each style offers a unique insight into India’s diverse cultural traditions, making the puzzle both an artistic and educational experience. The puzzle promotes understanding of Indian culture.
For Mirabel Rose Vance, the vice president’s daughter, PM Modi gifted an eco-friendly wooden alphabet set. Designed to be durable, safe, and engaging, it aids in the development of motor skills and cognitive abilities. The alphabet set is designed for learning and development.
JD Vance Thanks PM Modi
Vance called PM Modi “gracious and kind” after the Indian leader met the former’s family and had a “wonderful conversation” with them after the Paris AI Action Summit in the French capital.
“Prime Minister Modi was gracious and kind, and our kids really enjoyed the gifts. I’m grateful to him for the wonderful conversation,” Vance posted on X.
Vance’s post came in response to PM Modi’s earlier post on X, in which the latter recalled the joyous moments as he joined the birthday celebrations of US Vice President’s son Vivek.

Delighted to join them in celebrating the joyous birthday of their son, Vivek!” PM Modi wrote on X sharing pictures of him with JD Vance, his wife Usha Vance and their two sons. Vance has three children with Usha- Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
Later, the US Vice President’s office released an official statement regarding the two leaders’ meeting in Paris.
“Today, Vice President JD Vance met with Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. The two leaders, along with the 2nd Lady of the United States, Usha Vance enjoyed coffee together and discussed topics of mutual interest, including how the United States can assist India in diversifying its energy sources through investments in clean, reliable U.S. nuclear technology,” the statement said.
“Prime Minister Modi graciously shared gifts with the Vance children and wished the Vice President’s son, Vivek, a happy birthday,” it added. The meeting fostered positive relations.
