Aakhir Tak – In Depth
A horrifying crime unfolded in Karachi’s old Soldier Bazar, where Bilal Ahmed brutally murdered four female members of his family. According to the police, the accused was enraged by the women’s ‘liberal’ lifestyle and their social media activity, which he blamed for his failed marriage.
Incident Overview
On Saturday, police recovered the bodies of the four women, who had been found with their throats slit in their apartment. The accused, Bilal Ahmed, was arrested and presented in court, where he confessed to the crime. He claimed that the women’s liberal lifestyle and social media habits had ruined his marriage, as his wife was a religious person who left him due to their influence.
Mental Instability or Radical Views?
Investigating officer Shaukat Awan stated that Bilal seemed to be mentally unstable and held extremely conservative views. Initially, Bilal had only intended to “teach his sister a lesson,” but eventually decided to kill all four women to eliminate any witnesses.
Rage Against Social Media
Bilal was particularly enraged at his sister and niece for posting pictures and videos on social media. His anger escalated to the point where he also murdered his mother and sister-in-law, despite their minimal involvement in social media activities.
Police Action
The police have arrested the accused and are reviewing CCTV footage and other evidence to confirm the details of the crime. Bilal is currently in police custody, and further investigation is ongoing.
