Noida Rave Party Raid: 35 Students Detained
On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Police cracked down on a rave party in Noida’s Supertech Supernova, leading to the detention of 35 college students. This incident took place in the Sector 126 police station area, following complaints from local residents about drug use and disorder at the event.
The situation turned chaotic when residents of Supertech Supernova, located in Noida’s Sector 94, alerted the police. The disturbance began when a bottle of alcohol was reportedly thrown from the flat hosting the party, prompting residents to confront the revelers.
According to reports, the rave party charged an entry fee of Rs 500 for singles and Rs 800 for couples. Invitations were reportedly sent out through WhatsApp. Upon arriving at the scene, police questioned everyone present and discovered several bottles of alcohol in the flat.
The authorities have registered a case against 35 individuals, including five organizers. Items recovered from the scene included hookahs and expensive bottles of alcohol. The police are currently investigating the incident further.
The raid highlights ongoing concerns about drug use and unauthorized gatherings in residential areas, prompting increased vigilance from local law enforcement.
