During an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Mukesh Khanna said, “I don’t like Bigg Boss or The Kapil Sharma Show due to its vulgarity, but there’s no denying that Kapil is a terrific entertainer. There were two incidents that didn’t make me ‘anti-Kapil’ per se, but I felt uncomfortable with him. The first incident occurred during Comedy Circus when Kapil wore the Shaktimaan costume, and in front of him was a girl with a bed shown on the side. We made this character so righteous, but they portrayed him in a comedic, inappropriate manner.”
Mukesh also recalled another incident that shaped his opinion of Kapil Sharma: “The second event happened during an award show where Kapil sat next to me for around 10-20 minutes but didn’t greet me. He took his award and left without saying a word. When someone behaves like that, they lose respect in my eyes,” he explained.
Currently, Kapil Sharma is hosting the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show, which airs every Saturday evening on Netflix.
