Malaika Arora’s Statement on Father’s Death

Malaika Arora shared her first statement after the tragic death of her father, Anil Mehta. Mehta passed away on September 11, and police have initially termed it a case of suicide. In her statement, Malaika requested privacy from the media and well-wishers during this challenging period.

The statement read, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect.”

Anil Mehta will be cremated tomorrow, September 12, at the Santa Cruz crematorium at 11 PM. According to the police, 62-year-old Anil Mehta was found dead after jumping from the terrace of the sixth floor of Ayesha Manor, the building where Malaika Arora’s family resides. Investigations are currently underway. Malaika, who was attending an event in Pune, rushed back to her home upon receiving the news.
