Kickoff of Maharashtra Campaign Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the BJP’s Maharashtra election campaign in Dhule. He criticized the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, alleging it has caused political instability in the state. Modi claimed that alliances like the MVA obstruct government policies, leading to stalled development in Maharashtra.

Fight for the ‘Driver’s Seat’ PM Modi mocked the infighting in the opposition over the chief ministerial face. “Everyone in the opposition wants to sit in the driver’s seat,” he said. Modi asserted that only the BJP-led Mahayuti government could provide the state with stability and ensure development.

Accusation Against Congress The Prime Minister accused Congress of creating rifts within India’s tribal communities. “Congress’s agenda has always been to divide people based on religion and caste,” he stated. He warned that Congress now seeks to foster conflicts among Scheduled Castes, Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.

Modi’s Statement on Jammu and Kashmir Modi highlighted that the Congress-led alliance immediately sought the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir upon assuming power. He emphasized the need to maintain national unity and territorial integrity.

Election Dates Maharashtra will vote on November 20, with vote counting on November 23. Modi concluded that the BJP-led Mahayuti government is the only alliance capable of leading Maharashtra on the right path.
