Aakhir Tak – In Depth

Israel executed a coordinated air assault on Iranian military facilities with advanced fighter jets and precision missiles. Known as “Operation Days of Repentance,” the mission aimed at crippling Iran’s missile and drone capabilities. In three phases, Israel’s 100 fighter jets first dismantled Iran’s radar and air defenses, paving the way for subsequent attacks on strategic military targets.

In the second and third phases, Israel targeted Iran’s missile and drone sites directly. Using F-35 Adir, F-15I Ra’am, and F-16I Sufa fighter jets, equipped with long-range Rampage and Rocks missiles, the strikes were meticulously planned and executed in groups of 25-30 jets. During each wave, some jets launched missiles while others provided cover and diversion.

Despite these precise attacks, Iran reported that its air defense systems partially countered Israel’s strikes, though limited damage occurred. Following this incident, both Iran and neighboring Iraq closed their airspace as a precaution.
