Israel Should Hit Iran’s Nuclear Sites First: Trump

Trump Calls Harris 'Low IQ' on Joe Rogan

Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Israel should strike Iran’s nuclear facilities first and worry about other concerns later. This remark came after U.S. President Joe Biden mentioned that an “all-out war” in the Middle East is unlikely and should be avoided.

Trump was responding to a question asked of Biden about whether Israel should target Iran’s nuclear sites after a 200-missile barrage. “They asked him, what do you think about Iran? Would you hit Iran? And he goes, ‘As long as they don’t hit the nuclear stuff’. That’s the thing you want to hit, right?” Trump commented.

He further added, “Isn’t that the biggest risk we have, nuclear weapons? If Israel is going to do something, they should focus on that. Everything else can be dealt with later.”

The 78-year-old presidential candidate for the upcoming November 5 U.S. elections made these comments just a day after President Biden downplayed the likelihood of a full-scale war in the Middle East. When asked about the probability of a major war erupting between Israel and nations like Lebanon or Iran, Biden responded, “I don’t think an all-out war is going to happen. I believe we can avoid it.”

In response to whether the U.S. would send troops to assist Israel, Biden said, “We’ve already helped Israel. We will continue to protect them.”

Notably, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei recently delivered his first Friday sermon in five years, describing Iran’s strikes on Israel as “legal and legitimate” and the minimum punishment for “Israel’s crimes.”

“Israel pretends to achieve victory through assassinations, destruction, and bombing civilians. This behavior only strengthens the resolve of the resistance. Every strike against Israel serves the region and humanity,” Khamenei emphasized in his sermon, which coincided with the one-year anniversary of Hamas’ attack on Israel.
