A 45-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a woman on a Chennai-bound IndiGo flight. The incident occurred on October 9 when both the accused, Rakesh Sharma, and the woman were returning to Chennai from Jaipur. According to police, the woman was seated by the window while Sharma, sitting behind her, allegedly touched her inappropriately.
The woman reported Sharma’s behavior to the cabin crew, leading to his arrest upon landing in Chennai based on her police complaint. Sharma works for a tile company and had traveled to Jaipur for work-related purposes. IndiGo has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident.
