Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh stated in a written response to the Lok Sabha that India has never recognized the “illegal Chinese occupation of Indian Territory.” The Indian government is aware of the announcement by the Chinese regarding to the two new counties in Hotan prefecture of China.
