India-Canada Secret Meeting: Bishnoi Gang and Khalistani Terror Plot Discussed
Amid the ongoing diplomatic rift between India and Canada, a secret meeting took place in Singapore between India’s National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval and his Canadian counterpart, as revealed by The Washington Post. During this meeting, Canadian officials alleged that India had used the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to orchestrate the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The claims are based on anonymous statements by Canadian officials, accusing India of instigating violent attacks on Sikh separatists.
Initially, NSA Doval denied knowing about the Bishnoi gang, but later acknowledged that Bishnoi was “capable of orchestrating violence from jail.” The meeting, attended by Canadian security adviser Nathalie Drouin, Deputy Foreign Minister David Morrison, and a senior Royal Canadian Mounted Police member, lasted five hours. Canadian officials warned that details of India’s alleged involvement could become public during the upcoming trial of four suspects linked to Nijjar’s murder.
Canada also expelled six Indian diplomats, including High Commissioner Sanjay Verma, accusing them of gathering intelligence on Sikh separatists. India responded by dismissing these allegations as “baseless” and part of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s “political agenda.”
