Gujarat: School Principal Kills 6-Year-Old Girl

In Pipaliya, a primary school principal in Gujarat’s Dohad district, Govind Nat, has been arrested for allegedly killing a 6-year-old student. The girl was murdered after resisting his attempts to rape her.

The girl’s body was found in the school compound on September 19. The postmortem report revealed that she died due to suffocation. Dohad Superintendent of Police Rajdeep Singh Jhala stated that ten teams were formed to investigate the case.

The girl’s parents had sent her to school in Nat’s car. When she failed to return, they inquired about her whereabouts. Nat claimed he had dropped her at school.

After investigating, the police took Govind Nat into custody and interrogated him. During questioning, he confessed to killing the girl because she resisted his rape attempts.

Nat explained that when he tried to assault the girl, she began to scream. To silence her, he tightly covered her mouth, leading to her death. He then hid her body in the back of the car and returned to teach as usual.

After classes ended, Nat discarded the girl’s belongings near the school gate and left her body behind the classroom.

When the girl’s parents and locals arrived at the school in the evening of September 19, they discovered her belongings at the gate and found her body in the school compound.
