Gujarat Seizes Rs 5,000 Crore Cocaine

Aakhir Tak – In Depth: A massive drug bust in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, led to the seizure of cocaine valued at Rs 5,000 crore during a special operation on Sunday. A joint team from the Delhi Police and Gujarat Police raided the premises of Aavkar Drugs Limited, recovering 518 kg of drugs. The market value of the seized drugs exceeds Rs 5,000 crore.

Recently, the Delhi Police Special Cell confiscated more than 700 kg of cocaine in two operations in Delhi. On October 1, 500 kg of cocaine was seized in South Delhi’s Mahipalpur, followed by another 200 kg during a raid in the Ramesh Nagar area.

The investigation revealed that the drugs belonged to a company called Pharma Solution Services and originated from Aavkar Drugs Limited in Gujarat. To date, a total of 1,289 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hydroponic Thai marijuana have been recovered in this case, with an estimated total value of Rs 13,000 crore.
