Farrukhabad Case: Evidence Revealed by Police

UP Girls Found Hanging: 2 Arrested

The Uttar Pradesh Police are working tirelessly to piece together the evidence in the tragic Farrukhabad case, where two teenage girls were found hanging from the same tree in a mango orchard. The police are trying to establish a connection between the recovered items and the victims, hoping to clarify the circumstances leading to their deaths.

The case, currently being treated as a potential double suicide, has raised serious concerns among the families of the victims, who allege it may be a murder. The autopsy results indicate that both teenagers, who were close friends, died due to asphyxiation.

The victims, aged 18 and 15, belonged to the Scheduled Caste community. They were found hanging from the same dupatta in the orchard, located just 150 meters away from where they attended a Janmashtami program with their families on Monday night.

Among the key pieces of evidence are a mobile phone and a SIM card. The phone belongs to the cousin of the elder victim, and the SIM card was discovered in the clothing of the younger victim. This discovery has led the police to investigate why the SIM card was removed from a dual SIM phone and why it was found in the 15-year-old’s clothing.

The police are examining the phone’s IMEI number and the call details associated with the recovered SIM card to uncover more information. The evidence has been sent to a cyber laboratory for further analysis to assist in the investigation.

The cousin, who owned the phone, was present at the Janmashtami event with the victims’ families. The police are looking into his connection to the case, as they continue their search for the truth behind this tragic incident.
