Failed Rifle Attack Attempt on Donald Trump

Trump’s Return Could Crack Down on Khalistan Movement

Donald Trump, former US President and current Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential race, was having a typical day at his West Palm Beach golf club. As Trump lined up to putt, a Secret Service agent spotted the muzzle of a rifle poking through the bushes near the fence line. The incident occurred on Monday, and agents quickly fired shots but missed their target. The gunman, identified as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, managed to flee.

At the time of the incident, Trump was approximately 400 to 500 yards away from the assailant. Trump often mingles with paying members at his golf clubs, but this incident brought heightened security concerns. Secret Service agents swiftly surrounded Trump, shielding him with their bodies and escorting him to the safety of the clubhouse, where he remained under protection for 15 minutes before being taken to Mar-a-Lago.

The gunman’s escape was short-lived. Martin County Sheriff William D. Snyder confirmed that law enforcement quickly captured him on I-95 northbound after deploying officers to every exit. This event reignites concerns about Trump’s security, especially since he no longer holds office.

Fox News presenter Sean Hannity shared that Trump and his golfing partner Steve Witkoff heard a “pop pop” sound during the game. The Secret Service promptly covered Trump, ensuring his safety. Trump took to Truth Social to thank the Secret Service and other law enforcement officials for their outstanding work in protecting him.
