Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh recently interacted with a Pakistani fan during his concert in Manchester. This video is rapidly going viral on social media. Diljit emphasized that for him, India and Pakistan are one.
During the concert, Diljit presented a gift to his fan on stage and asked her where she was from. Upon learning that she was from Pakistan, the singer remarked, “I don’t believe borders divide people. For me, India and Pakistan are one. Borders are created by politicians, but Punjabis love everyone.”
Diljit further stated, “Those who know Punjabi, whether they come from any corner of the world, are all the same. Those who come from India are welcome, and those who come from Pakistan are also welcome.”
His heartfelt gesture resonated with the crowd, who responded with thunderous applause. Earlier in the concert, Diljit introduced his mother and sister to the audience, bowing in respect and informing them that his family had come to attend the event.
Following his overseas tour, Diljit Dosanjh will return to India in October. He is set to perform in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati. Notably, he will also perform at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26.
In terms of films, Diljit will be seen sharing the screen with Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan in the patriotic drama “Border 2.”
