Following the BJP’s resounding victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, security measures have been intensified at the Delhi Secretariat. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued an order on Saturday, emphasizing the need to ensure the safety of documents. The Secretariat has indicated that Delhi Police personnel and reception staff should also be sensitized regarding these measures. However, officials dismissed these reports, clarifying that only measures to strengthen security had been initiated. The BJP secured a decisive victory by winning 48 seats in the 70-member Assembly, marking its return to power in the national capital after 27 years, as Delhi counted the votes on Saturday.
