Aakhir Tak – In Depth
On Sunday morning, a powerful explosion occurred outside the CRPF Public School in Rohini, Delhi, causing panic in the area. The blast was so strong that it created a large hole in the school’s wall and shattered windows of nearby shops. Several parked cars were also damaged in the incident. Following the explosion, police investigations revealed that it was caused by a low-intensity IED (Improvised Explosive Device), likely controlled by a timer or remote. Fortunately, no shrapnel or ball bearings were involved, and there were no injuries reported.
After the blast, a cloud of white smoke filled the sky, and a substantial amount of white powder was found at the site. Forensic officials collected samples to determine the nature of the explosive used. The police also questioned the individual who first reported the incident for further clues.
A pro-Khalistani group claimed responsibility for the blast in a Telegram post, stating that it was retaliation for the alleged targeting of pro-Khalistan elements by Indian agencies. A video of the explosion with a “Khalistan Zindabad” watermark surfaced on the channel, prompting the police to investigate the possible Khalistan connection. They have reached out to social media platforms and Telegram for more information on the post.
