BCCI Informs ICC on India’s Decision
The BCCI has verbally informed the ICC that India will not participate in the 2025 Champions Trophy in Pakistan. A senior BCCI source confirmed this and mentioned that a formal letter will soon be sent, citing the government’s directive against traveling to Pakistan. The ICC is expected to release a formal statement after finalizing the tournament schedule.
PCB Denies Hybrid Model Agreement
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has clarified that it has not agreed to any hybrid hosting model for the Champions Trophy. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that any official communication from India regarding travel concerns should be provided in writing. He also remarked that sports and politics should remain separate, and PCB’s preparations for the tournament will continue.
Host Venues in Pakistan
