Mumbai Police’s crime branch has arrested another individual in the Baba Siddique murder case. The accused has been identified as Bhagwat Singh Om Singh (32), originally from Udaipur, Rajasthan, and currently residing in Navi Mumbai. Singh has been accused of supplying weapons to the shooters involved in the killing. He was produced before the court and has been remanded to police custody until October 26.
So far, a total of 10 individuals have been arrested in connection with this case, including five from the Mumbai Metropolitan region for providing logistical support and weapons. Baba Siddique was fatally shot on October 12 near the office of his MLA son.
The shooters currently in police custody are identified as Gurmail Baljit Singh (23) and Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap (19). However, the main shooter, Shivkumar Gautam, along with two others involved in the murder conspiracy, are still on the run.
