Aakhir Tak – In Depth
A member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed that the recently murdered Baba Siddique had connections with Dawood Ibrahim. Yogesh alias Raju, who was speaking to the media in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura, stated that Siddique was killed because he was not a good person and faced charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
Raju remarked, “When people get involved with such individuals, something is bound to happen. This is exactly what happened to Siddique.” He was hospitalized in Mathura and spoke to reporters while recovering from injuries sustained in an encounter with the police. A pistol, ammunition, and a motorcycle were seized from him.
Discussing the murder case in Delhi, Raju claimed he had no direct contact with anyone involved, stating, “It was only through my friends from Delhi that we communicated.” He is associated with the Hashim Baba gang, which is managed by Lawrence Bishnoi.
Raju emphasized, “The gang is much bigger than you think. There are more members than you can imagine.” Baba Siddique (66) was shot dead on the night of October 12 outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Mumbai.
Additionally, Mumbai police have arrested five more individuals for allegedly providing firearms and logistical support to the shooters in the Siddique murder case. This brings the total number of arrests in the sensational case to nine.
