In Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor sector, three terrorists were killed on Monday after opening fire on an Army vehicle. The incident occurred around 7 am in the Batal area when the terrorists fired multiple rounds at the Army vehicle. Security forces swiftly responded by cordoning off the area and initiating a thorough search operation.

By Tuesday, security forces confirmed the death of all three terrorists through drone surveillance images, showing the bodies of two terrorists, with one body already recovered from the encounter site.

The encounter came amid heightened security across the Jammu region as security forces prepared for Diwali celebrations. Following this incident, security in the area was further reinforced. The swift response, combined with drone surveillance, proved instrumental in tracking the terrorists.
