In a tragic incident in Nangloi, Delhi, a police constable lost his life after being hit by a car in a hit-and-run accident. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday around 3 AM when Constable Sandeep signaled a speeding car to stop. The driver ignored the signal and struck Sandeep, leading to his untimely death.

While riding his bike, he noticed a WagonR vehicle being driven recklessly and attempted to alert the driver to slow down. Suddenly, the vehicle accelerated, hitting Sandeep from behind and dragging him for about 10 meters before colliding with another parked car.
Sandeep was rushed to Sonia Hospital and later transferred to Balaji Hospital in Paschim Vihar, where he was declared dead due to severe injuries.
Addressing the media, DCP Jimmy Chiram stated that the police have formed teams to apprehend two suspects who fled the scene after the incident.
“They have been identified, and the car has been recovered. Prima facie, the case seems to be of road rage, and the investigation is ongoing.”
