The Haryana Assembly elections are scheduled for October 5, with 90 seats up for grabs. The BJP released its first list of candidates on September 4, featuring eight women and more than half of its 41 sitting MLAs. The Congress, on the other hand, announced its first set of 32 candidates, including the sitting MLA Bhupinder Singh Hooda for Garhi Sampla-Kiloi.
