Atishi vowed to continue the protest until Dr. BR Ambedkar’s portrait is reinstated. The suspended AAP lawmakers chanted slogans such as “Babashaeb ka ye apman nahin sahega Hindustan (India will not tolerate this insult to Babasaheb).”

Liquor Policy Scam

The scam relates to irregularities in the formulation of the now-defunct liquor policy for 2021-22. This matter has also led to the arrests of Kejriwal’s former deputy Manish Sisodia, former minister Satyendar Jain, and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh.
