Russian General Killed in Moscow, Ukraine’s Security Service Claims Responsibility

A high-ranking Russian general was killed in an explosion in Moscow on Tuesday. Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, head of Russia’s Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defence Forces (NBC), died in an explosion outside a residential building. The explosion occurred when a bomb hidden in a scooter detonated. Russia’s Investigative Committee reported that another person was also killed alongside Kirillov.
