Girls Molested While Returning Home: Shocking Incident in Deoria

In Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, two Class 8 girls were molested in broad daylight by four bike-borne men while returning home from school. This shocking incident was captured on CCTV. The girls were riding bicycles when they were suddenly attacked.

One boy attempted to drag one of the girls toward a nearby paddy field, causing the girls to scream in terror. In their attempt to escape, one girl fell, while the other managed to get away.

Local residents heard their cries and rushed to the scene, prompting the four motorbike riders to flee. The girls were returning home after taking an exam.

Deoria Superintendent of Police (SP) Sankalp Sharma said, “We have received information about two girls being harassed and stalked. On this basis, a case has been registered under the relevant sections. We have formed five police teams and we are reviewing the CCTV footage. The accused will be arrested soon.”
