A tragic incident of gang-rape has emerged from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, where a 19-year-old girl was assaulted by five men. According to police reports, the young woman was allegedly drugged before being gang-raped on August 28. The victim filed a complaint with the Mahila police station on Wednesday.
The police have detained four suspects involved in this heinous crime, and efforts are underway to apprehend the fifth individual. The case has been officially registered under charges of gang-rape. Additional Superintendent of Police (Women Crime Cell), Priyanka Kumawat, confirmed that the investigation is actively ongoing.
