Aakhir Tak – In Depth Bollineni Rajagopal Naidu, the newly appointed chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), criticized AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s statement comparing the Waqf board with TTD. Owaisi questioned the inclusion of non-Muslims in the proposed Waqf Amendment Bill while highlighting that the TTD Board had no non-Hindu members. Naidu reacted by saying, “The Waqf board is a real estate company. How can a senior politician like Owaisi compare it to TTD? I strongly condemn his remarks.”
Naidu, set to take office on November 6, supported the hiring of only Hindus at the Tirumala temple trust. Addressing the controversy over adulterated ghee, he assured that quality and quantity were intact. He further debunked misinformation on social media, stating that TTD’s vigilance commission was investigating, and strict action would follow against those spreading harmful propaganda.
