“The information that a sniffer dog was sent after three days is completely wrong. Sniffer dogs were sent twice, on the 9th and then on the 12th (August). A notice under Section 35(1) of BNS has been sent to Sukhendu Sekhar Ray,” the Kolkata Police clarified in an official statement.

Personally, the CP was doing his job, and the investigation was on a positive track. This kind of post is unfortunate, especially coming from a senior leader,” Ghosh remarked.
