The controversy surrounding the alleged use of animal fat in the famous Tirupati laddoos has caused a nationwide stir. Union Health Minister JP Nadda took immediate cognizance of the matter, requesting a detailed report from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Nadda assured that the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) would conduct a thorough examination, and appropriate action would be taken based on their findings.

This claim has left many devotees concerned about the sanctity and purity of the prasadam, which holds spiritual significance for millions of worshippers.
