Aakhir Tak – In Depth
In a fiery response on Friday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, labeling the NDA’s 100-day plan as “a cheap PR stunt.” Kharge accused the NDA government of depending on lies, deceit, fakery, loot, and publicity to govern.
Kharge’s remarks followed PM Modi’s comments regarding Congress, where he referenced Kharge’s advice for state units to keep campaign promises “fiscally doable.” Taking to X, Kharge wrote, “On May 16, 2024, you (PM Modi) claimed that you took inputs from more than 20 lakh people for the roadmap for 2047. An RTI filed in the PMO declined to provide details, exposing your lies!”
Stating that the letters “B and J” in BJP stand for “Betrayal” and “Jumla,” Kharge emphasized that PM Modi’s government has failed to keep its promises seven times. “Acche din, two crore jobs per year, Viksit Bharat,” are some of the questions Kharge posed to the ruling NDA government, asserting their failure to fulfill these commitments.
Kharge remarked, “Modi’s Guarantee is a cruel joke on 140 crore Indians!”
