Abraham, who is the President of the Karnataka Anti-Graft and Environmental Forum, has filed a complaint against Siddaramaiah, alleging that the Chief Minister failed to disclose his wife’s ownership of the said land in his 2023 Assembly election affidavit. The complaint argues that this omission was deliberate, with the intention of concealing the transaction for personal gain.

The opposition parties have seized upon the Governor’s decision as evidence of corruption at the highest levels of the state government.
