JD Vance’s 2020 Tweets on Trump Resurface Ahead of Elections

Just weeks before the 2020 US Presidential election, JD Vance’s tweets from 2020 have resurfaced, in which he criticized Donald Trump’s policies. These tweets were sent by Vance during Trump’s last year in the White House.

According to The Washington Post, Vance tweeted in February 2020, “Trump has so thoroughly failed to deliver on his economic populism.” He also predicted that Joe Biden might win the 2020 election, highlighting his doubts about Trump’s ability to secure re-election.

These resurfaced comments have raised concerns about Vance’s partnership with Trump, given that he now describes Trump as the “best president of my lifetime.” However, Vance’s spokesperson clarified that his 2020 criticisms were directed at other Republican leaders, not Trump himself.
