India showcased a masterclass in bowling. Mayank impressed with a speed of 145.7 km/h in his opening spell, dismissing seasoned batsman Mahmudullah. Varun took three wickets, including Jaker Ali and Towhid Hridoy, while Arshdeep Singh claimed three wickets for just 14 runs.
In batting, Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 39, including a remarkable no-look ramp shot. India secured a commanding position, scoring 71 runs in the PowerPlay.
This match marked the return of international cricket to Gwalior after 14 years, taking place at the newly constructed Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium.
