Shooting Incident in Gurugram Over Parking Dispute
An unidentified man opened fire on a couple in Gurugram’s Sector 9 following a parking dispute. The incident occurred near Housing Board Colony when the victims were about to park their scooty to go to the gym. As they parked, the accused raised objections, warning that it could cause problems. When the couple replied that they were about to leave, the accused verbally abused them, calling them “thieves.”
During this altercation, the accused suddenly opened fire, grazing the woman’s hand. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured in the incident. After the shooting, the accused fled the scene. The victim reported that the accused attempted to attack them with sticks first. In self-defense, he picked up a brick, after which the accused went home to retrieve a pistol.
A police official stated that they are working to ascertain whether the accused has a criminal background. Additionally, a bullet shell was recovered from the scene.
