Elon Musk’s $47 Offer to Swing State Voters for Petition Support
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has rolled out a $47 offer through his American PAC, targeting registered swing-state voters to refer others for signing a petition supporting gun rights and free speech. Those who successfully refer a swing-state voter will receive $47.
Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce, “For every swing state voter you refer to sign the petition, you get $47! Easy money.”
The petition was launched by Musk’s America PAC, which was formed with the backing of several tech entrepreneurs to support Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. The goal is to gather 1 million signatures from voters in key swing states. The petition advocates for the protection of the First and Second Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.
The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, religion, and assembly, while the Second Amendment protects the right to bear arms.
During a recent rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Musk took the stage alongside Donald Trump and stressed the importance of the 2024 election. Musk warned that if Trump does not win, “this could be the last election.” He also raised concerns that Democrats plan to infringe on Americans’ constitutional rights.
The petition focuses on voters from crucial battleground states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina.
The petition reads, “The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. By signing below, I am pledging my support for these rights.”
Gun rights have always been a divisive issue in the United States, with some advocating for easy access to firearms, while others argue that guns pose a threat to public and personal safety.
