Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested Zoya Khan, the wife of gangster Hashim Baba, in a drug-related case. Police had been trying to arrest Zoya for years, but she always managed to evade arrest. However, Special Cell ACP Sanjay Dutt and Inspector Sandeep Dabas finally managed to trap her in a drug case. Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested her from Northeast Delhi’s Welcome area while she was supplying drugs. They recovered 270 grams of heroin worth around Rs 1 crore in the international market.

Investigation

Investigations revealed that Zoya had sourced the drugs from Muzaffarnagar for further distribution. The Special Cell also suspected her involvement in sheltering shooters in the Nadir Shah murder case and is gathering evidence against her.

Zoya’s family background is also linked to crime. Her mother was jailed in a sex racket case in 2024 and is currently out on bail, while her father was involved in drug supply. Due to her influence in her area, Zoya was constantly surrounded by 4–5 armed henchmen from Baba’s gang.
